You are the LIGHT of the World

The enemy wants us to hear EXPECTATION and feel GUILTY.

God wants us to hear EMPOWERMENT and feel RELIANT.

What is God expecting?

‭‭John‬ ‭15‬:‭5‬ (‭NLT‬‬)
“Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, WILL produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.”

God expects we can do nothing apart from him. 

So where does God expect LIGHT to come from?

HIM!!!

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭41‬:‭10‬ (‭NLT‬‬)
”Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.“

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭5‬:‭8‬ (‭NLT‬‬)
”For once you were full of darkness, but now you have LIGHT from the Lord. So live as people of LIGHT!“

God empowers the LIGHT.

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬ (‭NLT‬‬)
”Then God said, “Let there be LIGHT,” and there was LIGHT.“

‭‭1 John‬ ‭1‬:‭5‬ (‭NLT‬‬)
”God is LIGHT, and there is no darkness in him at all.“

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭14‬ (‭NLT‬‬)
”“YOU ARE the LIGHT of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden.“

LIGHT Depends on God not you. 
LIGHT is for the world all 195 nations.
You can LIGHT your space and not light the world.
You can't LIGHT the world and not light your space.

Think bigger! 
Think global.
Think international. 
Think all 195 nations!
Think world!

You are light and cannot be hidden!

”LIGHT shines in the darkness for the godly. They are generous, compassionate, and righteous.“

Tangible expressions of God’s light through us:
Generous
Compassionate
Righteousness 

‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭2‬:‭9‬ (‭NLT‬‬)
”But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful LIGHT.“

YOU ARE HOLY
