Matthew 19:16-30 (NLT)Someone came to Jesus with this question: “Teacher, what good deed must I do to have eternal life?” “Why ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. But to answer your question—if you want to receive eternal life, keep the commandments.” “Which ones?” the man asked. And Jesus replied: “‘You must not murder. You must not commit adultery. You must not steal. You must not testify falsely. Honor your father and mother. Love your neighbor as yourself.’” “I’ve obeyed all these commandments,” the young man replied. “What else must I do?” Jesus told him, “If you want to be perfect, go and sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” But when the young man heard this, he went away sad, for he had many possessions. Then Jesus said to his disciples, “I tell you the truth, it is very hard for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. I’ll say it again—it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of God!” The disciples were astounded. “Then who in the world can be saved?” they asked. Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is IMPOSSIBLE. But with God everything is possible.” Then Peter said to him, “We’ve given up everything to follow you. What will we get?” Jesus replied, “I assure you that when the world is made new and the Son of Man sits upon his glorious throne, you who have been my followers will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And everyone who has given up houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or property, for my sake, will receive a hundred times as much in return and will inherit eternal life. But many who are the greatest now will be least important then, and those who seem least important now will be the greatest then.
God allows you to see the IMPOSSIBLE.
You can't live by the Spirit and not be confronted with the impossible. It seems God will deliberately expose the impossible in order to reveal himself all powerful. God will guide you to give him all the glory. College: Evil comes as necessary corollary to free will. In the same way impossible comes as necessary corollary to possible.
You can't have possible without IMPOSSIBLE.
Either faith or fear. Fear is natural response to impossible. Faith is supernatural response to impossible. Some face impossible and give up, cave in, and deny faith. Children of God face impossible and surrender it into God’s hands trusting him for a miracle.

We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires. In view of all this, make every effort to respond to God’s promises. Supplement your faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and moral excellence with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with patient endurance, and patient endurance with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love for everyone. The more you grow like this, the more productive and useful you will be in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But those who fail to develop in this way are shortsighted or blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their old sins. So, dear brothers and sisters, work hard to prove that you really are among those God has called and chosen. Do these things, and you will never fall away. What is the biblical explanation of excellence?In the Bible, excellence is defined as anything that reflects God’s character and glory. This includes qualities such as righteousness, faithfulness, kindness, humility, love, and joy. These are the qualities that God desires for us to display in our lives. Excellence is also living a life of obedience to God, honoring His Word, and showing respect and reverence for Him. Above all else, excellence according to Scripture is walking in love with one another just as Jesus commanded us (John 13:34).What is God’s standard of excellence?God’s standard of excellence is found in His Word, the Bible. According to the Scriptures, excellence involves being and doing what pleases God. This means striving for holiness and purity of heart, soul, and mind, as well as obedience to His laws. Excellence also entails exhibiting godly wisdom and developing a Christ-like love for others. Ultimately, it comes down to living in a way that honors and glorifies God by reflecting God’s excellence through our livesYou:

The world says nothing is for FREE.

The question is who is going to pay?
OGW: The Father’s going to give it.

It all comes down to what's FREE and what's not?How much does it cost?Who pays the bill?
There is nothing you've ever eaten, worn, or held that God hadn't already said: “I'll take the check”
His will - His bill.
Is it God’s will that you:eat?Wear clothes?Be saved?Have a job?
God guides - God provides.
God created your body:To spike fevers to burn off bacteria.To blink to keep foreign objects out of your eyes.To breathe.
BREATHE: how much did it cost you?

To swallow water.To eat.To sleep.To stay warm.To live under shelter.To live!God has guided for everything you need.

Matthew 7:1-6 (NLT)Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged.
And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own? 4 How can you think of saying to your friend, ‘Let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,’ when you can’t see past the log in your own eye? Hypocrite! First get rid of the log in your own eye; then you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend’s eye.
Don’t waste what is holy on people who are unholy. Don’t throw your pearls to pigs! They will trample the pearls, then turn and attack you.

JUDGE - September 26, 2023
A Judge: A civil officer who is invested with authority to hear and determine causes, civil or criminal, between partiesOne who has skill to decide on the merits of a question, or on the value of any thing; one who can discern truth and propriety.
To Judge: To compare facts or ideas, and perceive their agreement or disagreement, and thus to distinguish truth from falsehood.
